With over 30 years in the field, Dr. Nancy Hobbs has an undeniable passion for all things education. Nancy started her career in the classroom, teaching every level from Kindergarten thru 6th grade in the states of Indiana and Pennsylvania. Most recently, Nancy worked as a teacher at Peters Township School District where she served as the team facilitator for an 8 -person teaching team delivering top scores for the third grade for over 5 years on the annual state test.  She also pursued higher education, earning her principal’s license from Butler University in Indianapolis and a Doctorate of Education in Administrative and Policy Studies from the University of Pittsburgh. Nancy served as an administrator in both Peters Township School District in Pennsylvania and the Metropolitan School District of Washington Township in Indiana. Outside of the elementary classroom, she worked as a supervisor of student teachers at Pennsylvania Western University in California, PA and taught a Reading and Literacy course for undergraduate students there, as well. Nancy is a published author, co-authoring a book focused on children's literacy, titled "Personalized Reading: It's A Piece of Pie." Dr. Hobbs is excited for her next chapter, using her educational background to help parents create a literacy rich environment for their children and navigate the path to school success through her business, Parent 2 Teacher Connection Consulting Services.
